PCAARRD eLibrary. To efficiently and promptly disseminate and share AANR and other science and technology (S&T) information 24/7 to the grassroots of the society, the Philippine Council for Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (PCAARRD) under the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) has shifted from traditional library operations to a digital library. The e-Library is recognized as one of the knowledge management tools to capture, codify, share, and apply PCAARRD’s generated knowledge products and resources. With information on the agriculture, aquatic, and natural resources (AANR) sector vital particularly to the agenda of poverty alleviation, PCAARRD, through the assistance of the Science and Technology Information Institute of DOST, has developed a library management system designed to facilitate efficient and prompt dissemination, sharing, exchange, preservation, access, and retrieval of its resources. The PCAARRD knowledge network of libraries has been established through customization and deployment of the Science Library Integrated Management System (SLIMS) to the Council’s research and development (R&D) consortia for a more effective management and content development of the e-library. PCAARRD is one of the sectoral councils of the DOST, which is mandated to formulate policies, plans, and programs for science and technology-based R&D in the different sectors under its concern. It coordinates, evaluates, and monitors the national R&D efforts AANR sector. It also allocates government and external funds for R&D and generates resources to support its program.

SEAFDEC/AQD. Southeast Asian Fisheries Development Center, Aquaculture Department Institutional Repository (SAIR) is the official digital repository of scholarly and research information of the department. This is to enable the effective dissemination of AQD researchers’ in-house and external publications for free and online. The repository uses DSpace, an open source software, developed at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Libraries. It is an Open Archives Initiative (OAI)-compliant.

Taylor & Francis eBooks is a single destination platform with eBooks in science, technology, engineering, medical, humanities and social science. It includes a librarian dashboard, which provides quick access to MARC and KBART reports, usage data, entitlements and much more. Researchers have a single point of discovery for eBook content, multiple search options, and more. Access to the platform will allow users to: search ebook content at both the book and chapter level, filter search results by subject area, publication date and year published, and create citations in APA format.
